1. Deadlines will be set and adhered to by all theatre faculty and will be outlined on each course syllabus

a. Late papers and projects will be penalized one letter grade for each class period they are late.
b. No work is accepted later than one week after the deadline.

2. No incompletes will be given except for extreme, exceptional circumstances.
3. No exams may be taken other than at the scheduled times except for extreme and allowable circumstances.
4. All work will be presented in the format requested by the instructor (i.e. typed, memorized scenes, etc.)
5. The absence policy will be adhered to. You are allowed the number of unexcused absences equal to the number of hours credit. Other unexcused absences will reduce the grade by 1/3 grade per absence.

a. Valid excuses:

• weather conditions (if off-campus)
• extreme illness or accident
• family emergency
• participation in an approved university activity (i.e.athletics, forensics, AYPT, etc.)

b. Invalid excuses:

• minor illness (cold, sore throat)
• friend's illness
• late rehearsal
• too much production involvement
• exam, project, etc., in another class
• stressed-out
