Graduation Audit
Final check of degree requirements.

The semester preceding the student's last semester of residency (or student teaching, if applicable) the student is required to make an appointment with the appropriate administrative assistant in the Office of the Dean, College of Fine and Applied Arts, for the purpose of receiving a final check of degree requirements.

At that time the student will be asked by which checksheet/catalog he or she wishes to graduate. According to the student's decision in this regard he/she is checked for graduation requirements. A student may elect to be checked against any checksheet/catalog in effect during his/her period of residency at Appalachian, but once the student designates a given checksheet/catalog the student will have to meet all stated degree requirements that were in effect at the time of that checksheet/catalog.

Students are strongly advised to confer with their respective advisors about this and to schedule the conference with the Dean's administrative assistant at the appropriate time.
